Our Mission
Circle D Neighbors is a community-driven coalition dedicated to preserving the distinctive essence of the Lost Pines neighborhood in Bastrop, TX. Our aim is to protect the tranquil and forested area from potential development threats and foster a stronger community spirit among residents.
Some of Our Initiatives
- Hosting regular events for neighbors to socialize. We want to strengthen a sense of community and belonging for everyone.
- Proactively address concerns or desires for change before they create conflict.
- Simplify contradictory language in some of our deed restrictions.
Why it Matters
Bastrop is developing FAST! Pressure from developers to create higher-density lots is mounting, threatening the habitat for our endangered neighbor, the Houston Toad.
We also recognize a lack of community and togetherness creates division and fear. We want spaces where all voices can be heard and understood.

In November 2025 we'll be helping the Board plant trees in the park! They have purchased one hundred 1-gallon loblolly pines to ensure our park stays beautiful for years to come.

Monthly Grill-and-Gab

Every 1st Wednesday of the month at 6pm we meet in the park to grill some meat, sip our favorite beverage, and socialize.
